Hello everyone! I’m a little late for this one, but I want to do a few posts dedicated to working from home. I bought so many clothes since the stay at home order was in place, and I’m just sad I can’t show anyone, so why not share them on my blog. My work from home outfits post will be two parts, so stay tuned for the next work from home outfit! To be fair, I don’t always dress my best when I’m working at home, but on certain occasions, I like to put in the effort. Half the time, I’m still in my pajamas. However, I have a few comfort pieces that I like to wear on days that I have to attend meetings or Zoom calls with my coworkers.
The first outfit in this series features a short sleeve blouse from Uniqlo and these cute joggers from Lululemon. This is the only pair of Lululemon pants I own, and I have to say, they are my favorite pair of pants in my wardrobe currently. They feel so soft and are perfect to wear at home when sitting at a desk for long hours. These pants pair nicely with my white blouse from Uniqlo. It’s casual, but also work appropriate for those Zoom meetings. I’m usually sitting at a desk all day, so I prefer to wear pants that are more flexible. The two most important features for a pant, flexibility and comfort, and this hits all the marks. This is my go to outfit during work when I have to get on a call with my coworkers.
A bit off topic, but I recently bought this really cute double insulated mug from Amazon. It’s currently been my favorite mug to use for coffee. The design is cute and its double insulated, so my hands don’t burn when I’m drinking something hot. I’m thinking of doing a post where I talk about my top home office essentials. Let me know if you guys are interested. 🙂
As a freelancer and blogger, I’m used to working from home, but I would love to hear some of your experiences with this new transition from working in a traditional office setting to working from home. Is it better or worse?
Hopefully, I’m not the only one that does this, but who else has Netflix playing while working on the side? I’m currently watching the Korean drama, “Stranger”, and I’m loving the plot so far. I would recommend it if you are into mystery/thriller/detective shows. Definitely has me at the edge of my seat during work. This may seem like a distraction to some people. Personally for me, I think it takes away the stress from work and keeps me engaged. Staring at the computer screen in silence for long hours will make me lose my mind, especially when I’m stuck figuring out why my code isn’t working. I tend to keep the volume at a minimum so it doesn’t overpower my thought process, and I usually don’t start watching until I’m on my lunch break. That’s usually how my workflow goes, and how I stay focused.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I will be back with a part two for this series. I’m excited to show you guys more of my work from home outfits. It’s been fun putting these together since I can’t go out and show off my outfits, I can share it with you all on my blog. I would love to know what your favorite work from home clothing item is.
